And lo-and-behold, I have finally gotten a message from the seller of the Wii, I purchased.

I don't know, when I used to sell stuff on EBay, I was friggin ON TOP of all my auctions, I knew how much time something had left, who was bidding..blah blah.

But I digress(sp?), the seller has giving me a address to use to send him/her (Person is from India so I have no idea if the name is male or female) so now that I have gotten paid, I can send them a Cashiers check.  Oh and you can bet your asses I am going to send it delivery confirmation.

I don't want to hear some crap about them not getting the payment.

India? ummm....be careful....I only use Paypal with my Ebay stuff [I buy/sell a lot on there]. Cashier's checks and international seller can sometimes equal scam.

Glad they finally got back to you. I hate when people leave you hanging.

I'm going to echo what JeepChick said: not using secured methods to (such as paypal) and using what amounts to cash to pay for an item opens one up to the risk of a scam. Given the "hot ticket" status of the Wii again this holiday season, I'd be extremely wary of cash dealings. If you do go that route, I hope it works out for you, and you have your Wii in time for Christmas
