BINGO

So there is this aweful Easy listening station I have to play at work so it doesn't offend anyone.

Well, at some point I had entered to win something, and to do so you have to join their "club".

I never thought anything of it until yesterday when I got a call from someone saying they called my name on the radio.

So I called the station back, left my info and didn't think anything else of it.

I didn't get a call back so I figured I called back to late to win...oh well.

Well, they called today to confirm my ID.

I won a invitation to a BINGO party they are holding at the local racetrack....whoopie I thought.

But I did win two tickets to see Sheryl Crow on July 31st, not my type of thing but the wife is THRILLED to say the least.

Then I read the prize list for the Bingo thing:

1) $5000 for a jewlery store

2)$5000 for furniture

3) $5000 at Price Chopper (2,500 for groceries and a 2,500 dollar college scholarship for your kid)

4)A $5000 Game/theater system from Best buy (52 inch TV PS3, Wii,)

5)A 2008 Honda Accord.

I have never won anything so the tickets are good enough...but damn, I do hate being hopeful to get something from this thing.  Its next Thursday so I hope I get some luck.

On a side note, it will be a busy time with Concerts.  7/31 is the Sheryl Crow concert and the next day is The Police....glad I took a day off already.
