Dell shipping =....win?

I got the email Sunday saying that my PS3 had been shipped and I could expect it on 3/3.

 

I have to say, thats really great, a week for ground shipping is nothing new to me, most things take that much time if not longer.

I then got a email this morning stating that my PS3 status had been changed...oh great, then I read on....it had been changed to delivered.

I have to say I am impressed, for something that I had ordered on Friday to get to me by Monday is a surprise.  I have ordered things from within NYS that have taken longer to arrive.  Considering it was shipped out from TN, I am happy with the whole process.

I was even more surprised when my HDMI cable I ordered through a online store on Amazon.com that I also ordered on Friday was at my house when I got home as well.

Of course the BluRay movies I have ordered will take longer to get to me, but I am pleased.  And that doesn't happen often when I order things.

I also got a email from M$ letting me know they have shipped my newly "repaired" triple red-ring 360 back to me, of course I will probably end up with a refurbished one, but hell, it took them less than a week to send me its doppleganger back to me.

Hopefully the kiddo either hasn't much homework, or its already done so I can hook up the PS3 to the TV and at least get the updates I have heard about done and taken care of tonight.

from what i've seen, ps3's Home is WAY better than xbox's stupid fucking avatars. but that is just from a magazine comparison. at least they don't look like miis.

The PS Home thing is great looking, but it's just plain boring to me.

I ordered mine Fri. Later in the day, they say they shipped it out today, also got 3/3 delivery date. Woot if i get it tomorrow but wens. cool. Dell shipping is fast they use DHL?

Detla, All the computer items I have ordered came via DHL, this came from UPS though.

It took me a long time to switch from PS to XBox, I had a PS2 up till the 360 came out........and I was torn on buying the 360 or PS3.......my cousin bought the 360 I went over to check it out, liked it, took the gamble, and bought my 360, and haven't looked back since. Thumbs down also for selling out

I got my 360 from the Dell online store because a friend of mine told me about a sell they were having when I was in the market for it. I ordered it on a Friday and had it at my house on Tues. Amazon is a hit or miss. Sometimes I don't pay attention, if you catch something from one of their re-sellers it takes forever.
