Public speaking.

I have to give a speech tonight to a graduating class during their graduation tonight.

I really hate public speaking.   I guess I should have written a speech huh?  Oh well, I will wing it like normal.

Well at least you don't have to submit a written version of your speech just chock full of spelling mistakes!

I don't know if this will help out, but here goes... When I first started in radio, I would talk in front of a mirror and then to a group of stuffed animals (borrowed from my little sister) to make it feel as though I were speaking to familiar folks. I doubt this can help in a short time frame for you, but maybe give you a little chance to calm down when speaking. Go get 'em, Baine!!!

Just pick one person out in each section and speak to them only. That way you scan the room, as if speaking to everyone, yet only focus on one person at a time, as if at a party.

I think I will just do that shake and vomit thing...that will work as well. Friggin commencment speaches...bleck
