My weekend with

Rum.

Miracle migraine cure? Quite possibly.

I pretty much drank all evening Fri, Sat and Sun...and my new drink of choice was Rum. My wife got me to have it since I was stressed out and she wanted me buzzed or whatever. We started at dinner over at our friends house on Friday evening where we were served a yummy steak dinner by our hosts. They however didn't have my drink of choice available..which is Vodka, perferably with some sort of juice mixed in. Since they didn't have that, my wife convinced me to try her fruity drink, some sort of bay breeze or something like that. I've never been a hard liquor drinker so I don't know all the names, but it had cranberry and pineapple juice and a shit load of coconut rum. It was a little to sweet for my taste, but fuck if Pirates can drink it (nod to Nighthawk), so can I.

Much to my pleasure I have discovered that the mild buzz provided by drinking rum does not go away very fast after drinking it. I had so many, that they had to go out and replace their rum supply...YAR!

And, my headache went away...probably through the numbing power of alcohol and the stress relief of having a buzz.

So, my wife went out and bought a big ass bottle of Rum on Saturday and we had a few then, and then a few more last night. I had to wait till 5pm to have any since I was on/call for the weekend.

So its Monday morning, I don't have a headache. My eye is a little twitchy already after hearing some work related issues that have already popped up and I am sure that will cause the tension to rise and the headache to return.

I'm still going to see my physician this week, its easy enough to get their since that office is the medical suite one floor below mine.

I also managed to finish up Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 yesterday afternoon. I may or may not review that in another blog. No one gives a shit what I write anyways, so I haven't decided yet.

Post script, its nice to have several skulls graphics in the blog listing up there ain't it?
