12-16 inches of snow is expected to fall where I am starting in about a  hour.  WTF, seriously, it was in the mid 70's yesterday and the snow all melted...all 24inches from the last storm.

Schools are closing, stores are being onslaughted by people that treat every snow storm with the same fear that the ancient egytptians feared the plaque of locusts and boils.

Christ on a salt truck, people need to get a grip around here.

Around here the weatherman uses a bread-o-meter to tell us how bad the storm is. I wonder how many people buy the recommended number of loaves.

Here's what you do: Go around work and say to people "hey, have you noticed all the women are smiling today?". Pause, then say, "yeah, they heard they were going to get 12 inches tonight."
