Did the speech, went over well, shaking and sweating the entire time I was. MOre on that at another time.
My grandmother's CT scan showed a large mass in her brain that has hemorgenic appearences, basically its bleeding, and that means it has a decent blood supply to it, which is a normal characteristic of a Malignant Tumor. They are waiting for a neruosurgeon to arrive to see if they should do a MRA with contrast, there is a risk that introducing the contrast into the blood supply in the brain and the tumor can cause some of the arteries to rupture leading to a active bleed in her brain which would probably prove fatal.
My family has agreed on a DNR, which is a do not resuscitate, just in case something happens, we don't want her to have to suffer physically considering we all feel for the most part that even though she is alive, the tumor has done its damage and that Grandma really isn't there like she was.
I'm heading over now. I admit my cowardice, I don't really want to. I don't want to see her like this, but I know I have to. So I have to man up and do it.
