As in General Electric.

I have a portable Ultrasound Machine that goes byt he name of the Logiq Book.  This thing has always been a piece of shit.  The images are substandard, the battery life is practically non-existent..blah blah.   The only thing that this thing has going for it, is its small...its about the size of a large laptop computer.  That being said.  IT SUCKS!!!

Its ability to perform Spectral analysis, which uses for my field the Doppler effect to detect blood flow, direction of flow, volume of flow and speed, is awful.  But we have to use the tools we are provided.  And I have been.  For more than two years now for all my off site clinics.  Well, now I have 29 patient studies, stuck in the hard drive and it won't send them over out DICOM network to my server so I can get their studies done and interpretted.

HOLY SHIT!.

I came in this morning...Saturday morning, and I have been fighting with this block of crap for the last 3 hours trying to lure my studies out of it in order to get my work done.

I could always complain to the lab manager, but if I was to sit here at my desk and talk to myself, I am sure my staff would know I have finally rounded the bend and arrived at insanity.  And I am trying to keep that to myself for now.

Screw GE.

Great timing! One of my major drilling sensors, that is produced by GE, malfunctioned this morning. This caused a part of my drill to go off its "safe" trajectory and ended up breaking one of its many parts. I have been away from home for close to 7 weeks now and was due to return in about a week or so. This will now set me back at least two or three days depending on when I receive my replacement. So I concur - screw GE
