Wedding Cakes

So we were flipping through the cable channels a little while ago and came across a show on the Food Network called ace of cakes.

They do all kinds of odd wedding cakes, this one they made a rat, some owls and things like that.  So my Fiance leans over and says, "You are getting a grooms cake."  I have no idea what she is talking about so I just nod dumbly as I am prone to do often.  Then she says "Its going to be a Xbox360"

Now, her best friend does wedding cakes for a living and apparently the design isn't all that crazy to do.  I am just curious, should I ask for a set of gummy controllers or not?

That'll make an awesome cake - you'll have to take a picture of that one. One idea would be to make controller shaped cookies to go along with it - just make sure they don't add anything that gives them a weird green glow.

Grooms cakes are supposed to represent what the groom enjoys doing. It's probably the ONLY thing in the whole wedding that is totally his. I think it's great, I personally have seen enough hunting, fishing and sport team cakes to last a life time. Definetly take a picture I want to see it!

I didn't get to pick mine out. I was basically told what kind of cake I was getting. Please, ask for the controllers.
