Assassin's Creed goes GOLD!

After nearly four years in development, several delays, and what many claim to be the least-kept secret in gaming industry lately (some "twist" with the story - fortunately I've kept myself in the dark on it), another game joins the upcoming holiday push of AAA titles due to release. Assassin's Creed has gone gold. Why do I care? Well, check out this video with commentary from producer Jade Raymond, highlighting some of the game and you'll see...

I wonder, with the main character running around assassinating people, and the game being made by Ubi. If somehow by some stretch of the imagination they will tie it in with Splinter Cell..? :)

Nice. There was some worry that this may have been one of the titles UBI was going to delay along with maybe Haze. Although Haze is an 08 release for 360 anyway.
