One week later...

...and I'm starting to get back on my feet to a comfortable level.  While sneezing and coughing is still painful, moving around isn't all that bad anymore.  The steri-strips come off the incisions on Thursday, although they are already peeling off quite a bit on their own.  Not enough to see what kind of battle marks I'll have, but enough to give me confidence that the trip to the doctors in two days won't be a big deal.  I still have one week left on the short term medical disability, and will be enjoying it with the wife and family.    I think we'll be taking in a real haunted house-ish either Thursday or Sunday this year.  We are near the Eastern State Penitentiary for Terror Behind The Walls, one of the top rated Halloween attractions off of the Travel Channel recently.  It should be ... fun.  Hehe.

On a side note, I've also finally found a good deal on a second 360 for the house.  The one we have has always been my eldest son's which he received two years ago for his birthday.  However, it's been set up on our main TV at all times, and as such becomes a shared resource.  So now I'll be able to set up a second off of my 20" widescreen LCD, and have a second place for the kids to play.  After all is said and done, and I sell off the pieces that I don't need (few games, and a pair of controllers), it should run me about $225 for a 2-month old premium console.  Not too shabby.

Anyways, stay tuned for the Wednesday Movie Review tomorrow.  I just watched Transformers on the HD-DVD player.  I'll just leave it at this for now:  Wow!
