This is enough to make me sick...

A Spokane couple was ordered held Monday on $500,000 bond each in the death of the man's 4-year-old daughter. Detectives said the child had been forced to wear a shock collar, beaten with belts and suffered human bite wounds.

Jonathan Lytle, 28, and Adriana Lytle, 32, the girl's father and stepmother, were arrested Sunday for investigation of first-degree murder after Jonathan Lytle took the girl to Deaconess Medical Center with bruises from head to toe.

"This is the worst case I've ever seen and my detectives feel the same," said Sgt. Joe Peterson of the department's major crimes unit. "It's probably the worst case of abuse that any of us in hundreds of combined years in this unit have ever seen."

I normally believe the whole 'innoscent until proven guilty' line, but in this case, I think someone just needs go to medievil on these two and get them on the express train where they're headed ASAP.

Wow! Real weeners there. Capital punishment isn't enough for these two. kill'em, bring them back to life, ask them how it felt... then kill'em again. That sounds far.

Where does this come from? Hurting a child? Hurting your own?

I can't even comprehend this level of thinking. Spanking my daughter and seeing her face tears my guts out...this is just..fucking sick. No level of torture is to far. God give me an hour with one of these people...

It is a mixes blessing that the child feels no more pain. I am always sickened when I see stories such as this.

this sort of thing hints to cycles of abuse. when someone is capable of doing such harm to a child, the only explanation is being abused themselves. which is still not a reasonable excuse for it. how could they do this to that child over and over again. \r \r Killing them is not the fair punishment. Let them live their lifes out in jail. So that they may suffer the abuse that comes from that place over and over again.
