While I don't know anyone personally that was directly affected by this, I would bet dollars to doughnuts that someone in 2o2p does. To those folks, my heart and prayers go out today on the anniversary of the horrific event. It's really a terrible sign of the changing times we live in. Back when we were in school and college, these things just didn't happen. Granted, bullying was just an accepted practice (I was on the receiving end most of my school life, at least until high school), but it never once crossed my mind to take a gun and let loose on those who tormented me. I endured, I surivived, and now I'm earning 5 times what those fucktards probably are. But I digress...
Let's all take a moment at some point today to hope, in our own way, that this senseless crap stops. For our good, but most importantly for the good of our kids.
And now...while totally inappropriate in light of this blog's topic...the countdown continues!
