I survived Disney with 2 kids, a wife and a pair of grandparents. I aint scared of shit anymore !!!!  Ok quick recap: Food sucked, accommodations excellent, stuff for kids to do high score, things for Dad to do sucked ass, too hot, lines fucking long, drank more slushy drinks in one week then in the past 44 years, got wicked sunburned at the pool mid week could barely put a damn shirt on rest of the week, most of american families are fat as all hell, Disney is not a place to go if you want to check out hot looking babes on vacation, the fire works and laser shows at night are very cool, Oh and one other thing, i still fucking hate to fly!!!!!!!!!!

I have 2 hours of Sopranos to watch and a back yard and front yard that resemble a freaking jungle that need to be cut, but then Ill be looking for people to come hang out in Slayer with me and laugh at how horrible i play after a week off. Im seriously in Halo withdrawals. Its the longest I think I have gone without playing in 2 years. The closest I got to playing any video games was a cool section of Epcot called Innovations. It had a wall of tv's set up with games playing. Everything was Sony Playstation. I got 30 seconds on an "Incredibles" game before my kids started crying, my in laws passed out from the heat and my wife smacked me upside the head with a Mickey Hat. So I had to leave and go have another fucking Slushy!!!!!! AAAAHHHHH!

BAT

PS: Sorry for all the cussing :-) Its just that a week away with the kids has meant a week of abstinence on the foul language. :-) So Im a little "colorful" right now in my self expression.

Thank you for the honest assessment of the mouse kingdom. My parents did not take me to Disney World and I must say I do not feel I had a deprived childhood. I haven't taken my kids either, so skip the parents of the year award. You are truely awesome to make such a sacrifice for the little people in the family. Hope your kids are doing great!!!

lbsutke, actually it did rain pretty fierce one afternoon and one night. We got caught way the freak out in Epcote and had to hump it back to the hotel on foot in this torrential down pour. It was actually pretty fun. My 3 year old boy kept stopping and playing in the rain he had never experienced anything like it before so he was in serious exploration mode   - BAT

My first Disney as a kid my Dad was backing up when we were leaving and kit a parked car he could'nt see because of his clothes hanging up. So that cut in half the limited time we had as kids to see it. :( Took the family to Seaworld in San Diego, that was pretty cool, the lines werent as long for sure. Did you get a survivor T-shirt? :)

Should have went to Islands of Adventure...then you could have ridden the awesome Spiderman ride (best ride ever). They also had some meat heads running around dressed up like Spiderman, Storm, Cyclops and Wolverine. Sorry, no Bats...no Adam Hughes.....Glad you made it back safe!

Yeah Cap N Hun, you didn't miss much. I didn't ever go as a kid either and look how i turned out...uh oh i think i just undermined my own position   Over all Im being a bit harsh on the mouse we had a great time and both kids are already begging to go again :-) Personally I think they just really liked having mom and dad an grandma and grandpa 247 for 7 days  Hope your kids are doing well too, thanks for stopping by the blog :-) wareaglebeene1 thanks Grim its nice to be back :-) OldmanRiver48 thats a pretty funny story about the cloths and the crack up  Sorry it cut things short though, that must have stunk. We didn't have to worry about that because we didn't have a car. I have to say that the accommodations and the system for going and coming was pretty incredible. When you go with a Disney package everything is taken care of and i mean everything. The best was dropping our luggage off with the sky cap at the entrance to the airport and not having to worry about it again until we showed up in our room and it was waiting for us. SWEET!!! Between buses, boats, monorails and your hush puppies you pretty much can get anywhere real easy. :-) We haven't been to see world but I have been to San Diego a few times for the Comic Con the biggest comic book and entertainment convention n the world. Thinking about taking a day trip to this years actually next month, well see :-)

did it start to rain like at 2 in the afternoon and then have lightning so you could not do any of the parks water themed activities? That is what happened to us a couple of years back.
