Shared on Fri, 07/20/2007 - 23:42When I created this weeks Halo art post I intended for the piece to have a single color harmony. Im not sure what thats called, which is pretty pathetic for an artist to admit :lol: but I wanted it to be one over all color story. Much like the Arbitor illo of week #1. I think it came off close to what I was shooting for and I was pretty happy with it. However, a number of your posted in the comments that I should try separating the figure and the Hammer from the background more. I got a little time late tonight to come back to it and mess around with it and I am posting the revised version. Let me know what you think. Im leaving up the original for comparison. I adjusted his suit to a dark blue to help separate him from the background. It also, coincidentally, makes him more menacing and evil looking. Which is cool. I think I like this one better now :-) So thanks everyone for your comments and support. I appreciate it and I do take them to heart and apply them when I can :-)
