Had some time to start on the colored version of the GoW piece for the 2o2p Art Auction.  Not finished yet, still needs some tweaking, but you can get an idea.

Really nice Beefy!! I would only make one suggestion. Try putting a copy of the line art over the color and set the blending mode to multiply. And then play around with opacity. I only suggest this because I really love your original pencils for this piece. And I also am digging these colors. But all the pencil detail and texture has been painted over. I would love to see some of that brought back into the piece. Either way though its a rocking piece definitely my favorite work by you yet. Nice job, im sure it will bring in a great final bid to help out the site. Well done dude! - BAT

Thanks guys. Actually, BAT, what I did with this piece was to use the smudge tool to just completely turn the pencils into a grayscale painting and go from there. It's been something I've been wanting to try for a while. I get what you're saying though. I may try putting the pencils over it on a lower opacity, see how it looks. Just not sure the heavy shading of the pencils and the "painting" will mesh.
