As someone who has read the graphic novel many, many times over the years and loves it I was really looking forward to this movie but worried it just couldn't pull it off. It's not really an easy thing to translate into a film. I have to say though that it's probably the best anyone could have done with the source material. Overall I'd say I really enjoyed the movie, the altered ending didn't bother me like it thought it would. I think the only thing that did bother me was the fight scenes. Not that they weren't cool, just that they made these people seemingly superhuman when the whole point was that they were just ordinarly people who put on costumes. That skinny little chick playing Silk Spectre tossing 300 pound inmates around was hard to swallow. And Zack Snyder sure loves his slow-motion, doesn't he?
So here's a little something I've been working on the last couple months, a newly launched webcomic by my good friend Mike Gray called Clumsy Love. He writes and draws it, I just do the colors. I think it is pretty relatable to the folks here at 2old2play so maybe some of you'd get a kick out of it. He'd definitely appreciate people checking it out and giving him some feedback, maybe becoming regular readers. You can check it out at http://www.clumsylove.net/
