The best that I have been able to find is again from one of our gaming favorites... Kevin Pereia... again. (Much <3 for Kev :) ) He just has good natural reportive instincts.

I also found that if you spend a few minutes and actually connect with the people involved, you’ll quickly find there are common threads and concrete desires which would likely encourage broader support if universally adopted.
1. Get corporations out of politics.
The voices of everyday Americans are being drowned out powerful interest groups who finance the campaigns and line the pockets of our politicians. Big oil, health insurance companies, Wall Street banks… they’re the ones calling the shots, we just get to elect the pretty people in suits who answer to them. This problem can and must be solved.
2. Wall Street Reform and Justice.
Not a single executive from Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, JP Morgan, Lehman Brothers, AIG, Citibank or Goldman Sachs has gone to jail. Take three seconds and search any of their names with the term “fraud” and you’ll find article after article packed with information about how these companies knowingly cost investors (this country) billions. They cooked books, packaged knowingly toxic loans then sold them as top-shelf product, inflated commodity prices through manipulation and awarded themselves millions in bonuses even after we (taxpayers) bailed them out. It’s okay to want them all regulated, investigated and eventually incarcerated. They’ve earned it. Side note? Corporations are not people, their money shouldn’t be speech (see why here), and we need major campaign finance reform.
3. Domestic Investment.
For every dollar we spend blowing something up real-good-like in a foreign territory, can’t we spend a dollar here at home? Grab your granola drum-sticks everyone, it’s time to bang the hippy-drum. Education (thud-thud), infrastructure (thud-thud), healthcare (thud-thud), clean energy (finger-cymbals), safe foods (thud-thud). Hundreds of passionate pleas boil down to focusing; spending the precious time and resources we have here at home and not abroad. Not a bad cause to lump in. A bit nebulous, I must admit… but what the hell.
These are observations gleaned from interactions with folks at the satellite Occupy event in Los Angeles. They may not be reflective of all the desires held by everyone occupying a major city at this point in time, but at least they’re concise and ACTIONABLE.
- You can call for the immediate reinstatement of the Glass-Steagall Act and demand unprecedented campaign finance reform to try and lessen the corporate stranglehold on our government.
- You can chant for new regulations and a beefed up SEC/DOJ to investigate Joe Cassano, Dick Fuld, John Mack, etc. Don’t know who they are? Read up! I know that’s harder than pretending they don’t matter and haven’t negatively impacted your existence, but they likely have. So google it. Or ask Jeeves. Even that old bastard can tell you.
In the end some media outlets will only focus on the t-shirt slogan’ed radicals dripping with sweat and warpaint, along with outliers marching solely for their personal agenda. But I’ve seen the movement with my own eyes. It’s demographically diverse. Passionate. And in one way or another, representing all of us.

Ever notice how things like the jobs numbers were reported as "0" in Aug., pushed stocks to tumble down. Now they are being "revised" at 57,000, making stocks go up? Think there's not people somewhere manipulating that to buy low and sell high?
