Occupy Your Hometown

So I have been pretty much getting sidetracked ... Too many really good games.. Dead Island, Gears, getting back into Halo... and just started Batman Arkham Asylum on the PS3, cause City looks awesome.

But I have come to realize that the Occupy movement, while having a good idea(s), is maybe not the right direction. It's too much, too big. Just occupy your neighborhood if you can.... Now I don't mean go make some signs and stand outside yelling your the 99%. Just support your local merchants any time you can... Buy fruits and veggies at your local farmers market, shop the Mom & Pop stores around your area, bank at a local credit union... get involved in your community... I think that's how to make a positive change for the better... at least a first step.

Aaaaaaaaand enough of that :)  - Like I said, there is a lot of good gaming out there right now and I want to focus on it. I'm changing my avatar back and will be changing blog formats back to gaming soon... maybe I'll wait for V3, we will see how that goes (since I'm IE right now -_- )

The more I see of the Occupy movement, the more it seems to me its being orchestrated by a bunch of young idiots who don't have a clue about what they want or how to go about getting it. Every morning I see new footage of these morons being arrested for violating very simple, very fair LAWS and just smirking and mugging for the camera. The concept is sound, but the execution of it reminds me of that jackass who spent his spring break in Libya to join the rebels because he wanted to shoot a real gun. There needs to be a revolution, a true revolution. One thats done to benefit our society and not one thats done so people can see themselves on youtube. Until something like this gets organized, we're screwed.
