Shared on Thu, 10/15/2009 - 07:12I currently have a GameFly 2 out at at time plan. I've been on the verge of just cancelling it several times due to lack of anything interesting that I wanted to play. Now however, I have the opposite problem. I'd like to get them to ship out "Borderlands" next week and I've always had good luck getting new releases shipped as long as I've had nothing else at the top of my Que and was due for a new game to ship. The problem is that I currently have 2 games out and I'm not ready to send either back yet.
The first game is "The Beatles: Rock Band". I'm not really playing it much anymore but I also know that over the next 2 months I'll have plenty of opportunity with friends and family coming over for holiday parties that I may want to keep it around for those occasions. Of course once the New Year comes around I'll probably rarely if ever play it again. At least that's my assumption.
The second game I have out is "Uncharted 2." I just received this one yesterday actually and have played through the first 3 chapters or so. I'm guessing it'll take at least another week or two for me to be finished with that game. The one thing that has me intrigued about it is that it is the first PS3 game I've played were I feel like I might want to actually finish it. I hear there's a decent MP element to it but unfortunately most of my friends online don't own a PS3 and since I play MP for social reasons more than competative ones, that's kind of a weak selling point for me.
So I'm left with a choice.
Choice 1 - Buy TB:RB for $45 from GF and just have it around in case a guest wants to play it.
Choice 2 - Buy Uncharted 2 for $45 from GF and take as much time as I want to finish the campaign. It would be the only PS3 game I own.
Choice 3 - Forego buying either game and just wait to play Borderlands in a few months once I'm done with Forza 3, MW2, L4D2, and Lego Rock Band.
What to do, what to do....
