Facebook Drama

I've only been on Facebook for a year or so.  I remember one of the first wall posts that I recieved was from my niece who informed me that I was "too old to be on Facebook."  I think she may be right.

Lately it seems my status update wall is like some bad version of a Mexican Soap Opera.  Here's a few samples....

"..needs to just get over it cause it does nothing but makes me sick to my stomach and stay up all night long."

"Sometimes we fight about who's wrong and who's right and stay up all night And sometimes we drink and say hurtful things that we don't mean

"ha you're gone and I'm over it....get otta my life 'cause you were only in my way"

"Get outta my face, get outta my sight, get outta my head and give me back my piece of mind...I don't understand why you think you can do things you can't...."

These aren't all from the same person either.  Apparently some are lyrics.  That particular person needs happier music in her life because every other day is lyrics from some song about losing love and loss and blah blah blah.  My personal favorite was the guy who wrote on day 1 "I"m over it and I'm moving on, you're loss"  followed by day 2 "What makes you think you can treat me this way and get away with it?"   Way to get over it dude.

I've gotten to the point were I just have to block these people now.  I don't need these self centered jackholes harshing my mellow with every update they spew out.  I have a hard time coming up with anything to post in a status update 'cause I assume that much like my blog, no one really gives a shit what I think.  Apparently, there's a certain type of person out there who thinks that my existence is not complete until I've been informed of every little heart string pull in their pathetic little lives.  I've got news for you.....You're life isn't reality TV.  No one really cares.  Shut up already.
