Thanks
On to other stuff...
24 - This has been by far my favorite show for the last 7 years or so. This season however has gotten off to a less than stellar start imo however. It's not that I'm not enjoying the show, but there just seems to be something missing that I can't quite put my finger on just yet. Maybe it's more of a "been there, done that" sense to the show that's causing me to not have quite the same excitement that I used to have for it. It's still on the top of my DVR priority list though.
Battlestar Galactica - This show started off great then about 2 seasons ago got really caught up in its own mythology. All the stuff about Cylon gods and Human gods and who the final 5 were just got to be a bit much after a while. I couldn't care less who the 5th was by the end of last season. I was on the verge of giving up on the show all together but the new season that just began has come back with a fury. The story so far has been epic and I can't wait 'til Friday to see what happens with this current revolution and the fate of these characters. It's probably my most anticipated show right now.
Lost - I've come too far to turn it off now.
The Mentalist - Probably the best new show of the season. I know it's just a procedural but it's interesting and does a good job of mixing intensity and humor. Check it out if you haven't already. The only criticism I have of the show is the casting of that lead agent. I can't get passed the palsy she must have.
Big Love - For some reason, I really dig this show. I know that there's probably nothing remotely realistic about it, but I don't care. I like the story lines and I like the characters.
Big Bang Theory - I've said it before, but I'll say it again. If you are on this site and you haven't watched this show, you should be ashamed of yourself. Funniest show on TV. Period. (The Office is a close second)
Heroes - I just watched the newest show last night and I guess I need to go back and watch the fall finale. I was totally lost as to what happened when last we left our heroes. In fact it seemed like a purposeful act omitting a "Last time on Heroes" clip segment to start the show. It would appear that they are trying to dump as much of the previous plot lines as they possibly can without completely destroying the state of current affairs and moving in an entirely new direction. I will say, that what I saw last night does have my interest peaked for where this is going.
Damages - I'm still liking the show and there's some great acting taking place but that lead actress needs to eat something for Pete's sake.
Other than that I'm looking forward to Dollhouse starting in a week or two and Rescue Me and The Tudors will be firing back up in the near future as well. This is why I have 5 DVRs.
