ENT Visit

Yesterday I visited an ENT doctor (ears, nose, and throat) about problems in my right ear.  He diagnosed me with Meniere's Disease, prescribed a medication and put me on a low sodium diet.  I've never been one to look at the labels of things I ate, but I started doing that last night.  There's salt in everything!  I was going to have Cheerios this morning but it has 300 mg of sodium.  After looking at several of the cereal boxes in my pantry, I discovered that Frosted Mini-Wheats has only 5 mg of sodium, so I had that.  Then at lunch I started looking at the chips I normally eat, Cool Ranch Doritos (260 mg sodium), hot dots (400 mg sodium), canned soup (660 mg sodium).  Man!  I'm only supposed to eat about 1000 mg a day.  That's crazy.

Anyway, I have yet again more gamplays.  Caesar and I did some double team games last night and won all of them.  I uploaded two and am going to put up CTF Warlock one we did (where he carries me to victory) within the next week.  I also uploaded a custom Lockout 3v3 game where I did very well.

Lockout 3v3
Ivory Tower Double Team
Sanctuary Double Team

The Ivory Tower game is just wrong and the Sanctuary game is about the same but we have very good teamwork in the Sanctuary game.  BTW, if anyone has gameplays that they want to share or whatever, PM me.  I realy enjoy watching them.  Enjoy.

Jared

Great vid Jared! Im gonna watch a few times and see if there's anything I can learn from it. What do you have your sensitivity set to, it moves REAL fast. Mike

My sensitivity's at 5 (big shock, huh?) but I've sped up the videos to a rate that's about 1.2 times faster so they take less time to watch.

Yeah, I hear you on the food labels. I remember when I first learned about trans fats (before it went mainstream). I started looking for it on the labels at the grocery store, and pretty much everything I looked at had it, except for like 1 or 2 things and of course the fresh produce section. Don't get too down, though. The beginning is always the hardest until you find a routine that you can settle into of healthy things that are also easy and tasty. Once you start developing some better habits it gets a lot easier.

Don't you get all dizzy playing? or is that not one of your symptoms.

No, I experience vertigo at random times. Usually occurs about once every month or two and varies in intensity. Some episodes I'm just off balance and others I have to lay in bed because it feels like I've had 5 or 6 beers.

Sounds like your a cheap date Bio!:) Yea I noticed the sodium long ago is tough to get around, for years I just avoid extra salty stuff and I cant tell you the last time I added salt. Pepper is your friend, I use lots of it. Good luck with with your "diet" and full recovery.
