Weekend Sick

I felt like I was going to hack up a lung this morning.  After taking Friday off sick, taking medication all weekend, and sleeping the weekend away, I thought I'd be better by now.  I had to log off XBL early last night because I just couldn't stop coughing.  I'm better now after taking some Sudafed, and hopefully this'll die down soon because I really don't want to go to the doctor again.  I've seen more doctors in the past six months than in the preceding six years.

Since I was just laying in bed Saturday, I thought "What the heck, I'll order VoD and watch an assload of vids."  They're even giving away free t-shirts with a subscription.  Well, there's a problem with the MLG store in that no one can log in.  It gives a 403 error for some reason.  And of course it can only be fixed during office hours, 10 am - 5 pm.   It's still not up.

I can't wait until after tomorrow because I'm sick of all the political ads.  Although I saw a funny one here in North Carolina.  It was a Republican running for state senate and he said his opponent wanted to offer voting registration forms in Spanish.  The way the ad voice guy said it, though, sounded like he proposed a bill to allow the devil into everyone's homes.  Believe it or not, we have Americans that speak Spanish better than they speak English, and it might help the integrity of our democracy if they better understand voting forms.  Anyway, the ad wasn't even subtle in its racism, which made it so funny.

If I was able to cap last night, I might've had a nice game play to share.  Bioslayer, shawtomitall, and I beat neks, Stridog, and someone else on Midship slayer 50-49.  They were down like 49-45 or something at one point and it took us forever to get the last kill.  Wish I had that one.  Oh well.  So no game today.
