Shared on Tue, 09/15/2009 - 09:15My wife Amy had a lump in her boob. After what seems like an eternity, well it was about a month, we got the test results back. Seems it's just a lumpy fat buildup thing. What a load off my already aching back. She had a mammogram, mri and blood test done (in that order). She now gets to have testing done every year just to be on the safe side. I'm all for that, I like safe on things of this nature. We kind of prepped ourselfs for the worst possible news and now that it's "done" I have this feeling of, I don't know how to describe it, like it was all just a bad dream. The fear is sort of there but not. One of my best buds made it out of cancer years ago and I really wan't looking forward to going through that again on an even more personal level.
Maybe my liver can get a break now.
