Alright!!!!! So , I joined the group 2old4twinkies, to help motivate me to get in better shape. I feel so much better these last couple of days. Amazing!! I have completely cut out soft drinks and junk food. I am drinking a ton of water and I discovered how great a fresh mango is. Im taking my coffee black now and skipping on the frosted cereals. Because my daughter and I live in the "stix" we hike almost every morning.Which is great for her becasue I can teach her a science lesson as we hike. Naturally, I am carrying her on my shoulders the entire time,  but Eh, just more exercise. I AM SO READY TO DO THIS!!!!!!!!

Great exercise tip #2

For all of you gardners out there, ditch the tiller and turn the dirt  using a shovel.

Its what I have been doing. I broke my tiller the other day. the pull cord got caught between the tines and it over extended the cord. Well becasue I am so impatient I began working on it myself. I though oh thats an easy fix. When I took it apart I realized that the clock spring had actually popped out of the groove so it wasnt casusing the reverse tension needed to properly rewind the pull cord to start the motor. I took it apart and out pops the spring full force. So now I have my tiller at the repair shop and have about 100 dollars worth of bedding plants on the way from IL and nowhere to put them. Hence the reason for digging a flower bed by hand.

@bluebird if typos suck... I need to stay off the internets! Srsly though: excellent job! except the breaking the tiller part... how big is your garden/flower bed that you need a tiller? I have a black thumb... okay not true. I can grow 5ft weeds... but point is: I lost garden privileges. Never gardened in anything that big. Post pics!
