Scare from hell!

We were walking down the street in the big city yesterday and the 2 1/2 year old just turns and heads for the road with lots of fast cars zooming by, luckily my wife was right beside her and was able to grab her arm quick and pull her back, scared the crap out of all of us. We have been spoiled by our sleepy little subdivision, with the grass between the sidewalk and the road, and we tell her not to walk on the grass because its to close to the road, so she never gets remotely close. It is amazing how fast things can happen. Were counting our blessings this morning!
