Shared on Thu, 10/05/2006 - 14:15ok so I am not good at kkeeping up with this thing, after a fun time in san francisco I am back home. Where the wife had a somet hings waiting for me to do. One of them was putting together a pool table she found online, it is a Dinner table / card table / pool table. It is the coolest thing I have seen , It als came with 6 chairs and free shipping from China. For a mere $1700 and a day's work of putting the thing together I have a 6' pool table. I will post up some pictures when I get around to taking them. For the money it was an awsome deal here is their picture. You can customize the thing a ton of different ways. Their site is www.campran.com . I will do up som pictures of mine when I get home.
it sounds too good to be true, there are some things about the table that are not said on the website. The directions were some what lacking in information, they was no words in the whole thing just a litte book of black and white pictures showing the assembly. Well I take that back at the very end of the picture book there was one sentance, something like Your table is now complete, enjoy! :) And it took some convincing at times to get the holes to line up, but for the money its a good deal. Something else the picture does not show is that the table top is actually 2 peices and the poker mat comes out to allow the peices to come off. There is also nothing holding the table top on except the rubber of the pockets, so it slides but nothing bad. The slate is in 3 peices and I (with the reccomendation of the local Rec Warehouse dude) used bee's wax in the gaps. Not a tournament table but the family and I have a blast with it and the wife and I play Magic on the poker table part... Alright more pictures to come...
