I have to say, though, that I have noticed that this presidential campain, I feel that more people have been actively involved in promoting the one they want to win. There have been people out with "Honk for...." signs, promoting the one they want to win, I have had people at my door for most every Saturday for the past 3 weeks and then today, I get home and I have a hanger on my door reminding me to vote tomorrow with one of the candidates on it.
Now, do I enjoy being awakened to talk about politics on a Saturday morning? Absolutely not. But I answer the door every time because those people are getting out there and they are promoting what they believe in. If that isn't what our men and women fought for and are fighting for I don't know what is.
I don't care who you vote for. All I care about is that you go and vote. That is what is important. Men and women have died so that you....yes YOU, can go and vote. So make their sacrifices worth something. Vote. Let your voice be heard!
I know I will.
