Firmware 3.0

 Well Sony kept their word and brought out Firmware 3.0 around midnight last night. A ton of people are complaining about it. The font is to big , I cant connect to the PSN, the friends list looks bad etc etc etc. As a note I didn't problems connecting to the psn after I patched and the font to me looks fine. I am using a 50 inch samsung lcd though I dunno if its borked on smaller tvs or what. The animated theme support is a really nice feature. Is it a huge feature? No... They also mentioned something about premium avatars. No idea what these look like or if their animated. There isnt any of them available yet. On the friends list it has added this profile looking gray box around each friend. Im not sure if there is more planned with this or not but it does look a little weird at the moment. The biggest issue I have with this firmware is how they have gone out of their way to throw the playstation store up in your face. You now have 3 separate icons for the playstation store. One under playstation network as usual then one under games and movies. Each one of those takes you to the corresponding part of the store. I think they needed to maybe put games store or video store under there they dont need the playstation store in each menu like that.
