A week ago me and my fam went on a lil mini vacation to Rogers, Ark.......Beaver Lake. Well bout 2 weeks prior to that my g/f known as "H" made arrangements with her bud "D" to come over and feed the cats while we was gone. The calico in my pics "Gizmo" has stomach issues so she has to be fed science diet prescription food. Mocha(also in pic) and BB can eat Gizzy's food but not vice versa. Anywho "H" asked several times if this would be a prob. She always said not a prob glad to do it. Well a day before we were gonna leave "Z" "D's" daughter was over before school(comes over ever morning when her parents go to work) and made the comment that her and her folk were going to Mount Rushmore for the weekend. "H" immediately calls "D" at work and asks what gives.....thought you was watching the cats. "D" comes up with this lame excuse since she didn't hear from "H" she figured she wasn't needed!!!! How the fuck you figure that when all was agreed upon WELL in advance!!!! All wound up going ok as we was able to get "D2" to take care of'um.

Well before we got back to town "H" got a real bad cold and couldn't watch "Z" in the mornings before school. After getting stood up like that I damn sure wasn't gonna do it.......and told "H" after the way "D" treated her she shouldn't watch "Z" before school any more. "H" says doesn't want to hurt "Z" and "B's" (our daughter) friendship........My thoughts were "Z's" parents can't treat you like shit tho.

The week goes by without "Z" and "H" starts ta feeling better. Asks me again what did I think bout "Z" coming over in the mornings."You know what the fuck I think so why ya asking me?!?!" All "D" had to do was pick up the phone and say folks wanna take us to Rushmore......can we beg off this weekend?? I woulda understood that....but to find out from her kid?!?!? I told "H" it was up to her....do what you want but by askin again I knew she felt pretty much the same way.

This mornin "H" calls "D" and tells her probably for the best "Z" not come over in the morn'ins anymore. Said I was totally against it after what had happened. The kids can still be friends and "H" can still be friends with "D" if she wants but me......meh......far as I'm concerned the fuck with'um.

I think the reason this got me so rubbed the wrong way is because back in june-july I missed the 1st trip to the lake cause I didn't trust anyone to give gizmo her meds as we had just found out about her stomach issues. So i stayed home and doctored the cat (and beat Bad Company) If needed be I'da missed this trip too but luckily "D2" came to the rescue.

I told "H" she didn't have to do that but said she knows soon as there was any issue with "Z" and the cats I would go balistic.......one day I might soften up but for now......fuck'um all!!

I always love it when friends say they will do something for you, or pay you back that five bucks and then pretend to forget about it.

Actually, I'm with Caddy on this one. Any life you take off is paramount over anything else. Whether this life is your dying grandmother or a cat with a sensitive stomach. But for some reason we all seem to think that a pet's life can be screwed with.

I know this does not help your current situation, but in the future hire a professional pet sitter. I had my own business for 7 years - Your cats can stay in their own home and MOST PROFESSIONAL sitters know how to medicate and will follow your instructions. Ask your local vets if they can recommend anyone.
