CTD

Well, the "crash-to-desktop" continues.  I uninstalled Oblivion from C: and put it on F: and ran the patch.

All my savegames are useless, due to mods going away, which is fine, so I start up a new character and get through the intro dungeon.  CTD when exiting the dungeon.

Crud.  Alright, load up get out of the dungeon.  Do a little wandering around with periodic CTDs.

Spybotted the PC and ran PC-Cillin scan last night.  I am going to check into the "new driver" problem that is mentioned on some boards tonight.  Also, I am going to disconnect from the ethernet and shut off the PC-Cillin as that may be the problem.  It has irritated me in various ways in the past and may be the culprit again.

Perhaps I'll get Shivering Isles if I can get it to work... Maybe I'll get the PS3 version instead...
