Shared on Mon, 01/21/2008 - 09:57Man I hate late night/early morning calls. Fellow in the unit tanked at about 4 AM, necessitating intubation. Family wanted him transferred, but without a sun in the sky, most folks are reluctant to take someone on a ventilator via ambulance or helicopter.
Would have been so bad if I hadn't gotten home around 10, paged 3 times between midnight and 4 AM and the baby hadn't woken up.
Bed looks good tonight. Oog.
