Oblivion

Caduceus

Bit the bullet after I was standing at the Circuit City on Saturday (and picked up "Rogue Galaxy" for $20) and bought Oblivion GOTY edition as well.

I was on the phone with my wife agonizing about the purchase when she simply said, "What's the point of having a really big TV if you can't play the games you really like on it?"

I played a little on Saturday and Sunday, getting used to the control schema a bit.  Overall, still one of my favorite games of all time on the PC, having beat Morrowind after about 120 hours in the saddle on that bad boy, I am looking forward to running Oblivion into the ground again.

I still love the game, though I agree with the leveling criticisms of both the characters and the critters.  It was a good idea, but didn't work.  Hopefully Fallout 3 will be better.

I watched the Superbowl, like the rest of the universe.  My favorite moment was the penalty for running out the play clock on Eli, cut to Peyton who was spinning his finger in the "hurry up" motion.  Typical older brother.
