Meeting Mike James

Well, its Labor Day and I thought I would take a break from working on the jungle we call our back yard and say a few words about how much I really enjoyed myself yesterday. Mike James, his lovely wife and beautiful daughter came down to enjoy a cookout with our family. A little secret about me, I am kind of shy. Family is everything to me and it takes a lot for me to get out of my comfort zone and meet new people. I am sooo glad I did though, thanks to a little persistance from Mike (its only taken what a year and half?). We had some beers, some really good food and Mike & family found out a little bit about what it means to have three teenagers as well as a 10 year old. It was soooo cute to see my son and his daughter get along so well (I really am sorry the older boys teased them so badly, I am still busting their chops for that). Mike made sure there was no kissing, but it was obvious they really liked each other. I must of scared Mike about my MIL because he was more polite than he needed to be (I am sure she could of made Mike blush if she felt like misbehaving but she was on her best behavior too). It was definately interesting seeing him field questions about the LAN in front of his wife. It was great to do something different, we got both of our spouses to go for a walk and I am glad I came out of my shell (even if it was just a little bit). Maybe by next year I will be ready for the LAN!!! Oh yeah, even though he was behaving, MJ is still hot b1tch3s!!!!
