I have been playing Lord of the Rings Online. I like it a lot and it will definately keep me tided over until Two Worlds comes out and likely even after. It definatly hasn't been everyone on 2old2play's cup of tea so I have been trying to glean people's opinions about this and have concluded that many experienced RPG people think the pace is too slow or the game is too casual(leveling up is to easy). For now I enjoy the pace and being a true middle-earth fan immensly enjoy the environment. I think Turbin will probably continue to bring in more adjustments and features that will keep me interested.

I have a buddy code I haven't used yet and now Turbine is announcing that I can turn in as many interested friend's email's as I want for them to get a free 10 day trial! If they like it enough to purchase the game, I can also get a month free (it costs $15.00 a month). So if you are interested in trying it out and would like a 10 day trial, please let me know.

I don't think so. The power you have while running in a group is awesome. But you still definately need a group that works well together to get the tougher group missions. My biggest beef would be the time it takes to get a PUG together and figure out how to work well enough together to get the mission done. Usually, I don't have that kind of time on a weeknight and end up soloing. There are story instances and then there are group missions you just pick up as you go. It is definately worth researching and/or getting the trial when you have some time to play. I think 10 days into it you will get a good feel whether you like it or not.

Thanks Cap, I think I will rent it from Blockbuster this weekend and try it out...if all goes well...might have to purchase this one. :)

Hey, thanks for the website. I checked it out, and it has intrigued me even more. I think I will look for a used copy at EB games after its been out awhile. Hubbys birthday is this week so I was thinking about getting him Guitar Hero, so there goes my money! ;)

I love Lord of the Rings....I have been debating over getting this so Hubby, myself and one if his friends can play it online together. His biggest hold back is that he thinks it will be too easy....do you think it is too easy? Keep in mind we are of average (or more likely, less than average) skill. Let me know what you think. I have really wanted to play this one online co-op with some buddies. :)
