Force Unleashed

The new Star Wars game coming out looks like it's gonna be a winner. Force Unleashed promises to give those of us who crave destruction just what we want. The premise is you are Darth Vaders apprentice who is being trained to assassinate the Emperor. And on the way, kill the serviving Jedi from EpisodeIII and some new ones not yet seen. The game takes place after Episode III and before IV, filling in the blanks those some 20 years between. The game will sport new technology called Euphoria, which will help NPC AI overall in the game, supposedly making them smarter and more realistic. Then the game environment is tweaked using Digital Molecular Matter, "which helps game developers simulate the way different materials behave in the real world". In other words, damage done to a stone pillar vs. a steel beam will give different appearances depending on what was used, e.g. a body impact or a saber stroke. I don't think this is the saber fighting game I was hoping for, but a pleasant suprise none the less.
