I am quite certain they will both get scholarships but it's good to have more than too little. So I'm looking at 529's and PACT for both of them. With a 529 the money can be used for anything educational and can be passed onto a sibling, but the money is invested and so if the market does well and you put it in the right place, all is well. PACT is guaranteed. No matter what tuition costs say five years for now, it's payed for in full. At the rate in which college tuition is rising these days, PACT seems the way to go. But, it's only for tuition, thus the need for both. Ah, the joys of being a parent.
