I'm more than a little bit ready for Halloween. I always get excited when I see people dress up their homes with spooky pumpkins, ghosts and goblins. Some of my neighbors have their doorfronts spooked up already for the upcoming chills of tricks or treats! It's always a good excuse to eat candy, and dress up.
 
 
After doing grown-up Halloween party after party. Last year I decided to stay home and gave out little toys with the candy. I love watching their faces light up. They go crazy over the toys more than the candy. They spend a long time picking from spooky spider rings, eraser skulls, ghost pencils, squishy eyeballs, stickers, ball puzzle games, and stuff like that. It's like candy has become boring to them and they get all wacky when they see spookytoys! (Kids are always so cute between the messy stage and before the timmy phase.)
 
 
I can't wait. I've got some spooky sounds to play, got my evil red-eyed spiders ready. Just need some pumpkins and a few ghosts to round it all out. I feel like a kid myself. I just picked up four bags of little Halloween toys and a boatload of candy candy candy candy candy!!! I'm gonna make up some fun bags of goodies. This catalog has some fun and cool Halloween decor. Thinking of getting the hanging cocoonweb man...heh hehe waa Haaa (evil laugh), or a few ghost, or maybe a witch! This is way more fun than shopping for a purse!

This year I think I'm going to dress up for the little tikes--if I can get the nerve up--and when the door bell rings, turn into something wicked (lol), or maybe sweet. ouuuu maybe a Pirate!,
 
Now, if you'll excuse me, shows like "Garfield's Halloween Special" and "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," are not just for kids! BOO!...

I enjoy fall/halloween more than any other season. Such a relief after a long hot summer. What a cute background!! Foxes are such pretty animals.

We love Halloween too, and since we live in a GIANT development filled mostly with loaded retired people we expected lots of kids for trick-or-treating...but last year we had none, the year before we had none...its shocking that there are so many kids who don't do it anymore.

RogueRose, Thank You! Make that two....love fall/halloween. The kiddies get so excited, the big ones too...lol Let's hope this fall is a colorful one. I supported a baby fox, her name was Sequoia Fox. The fox was set free after rebilatation and is now back in the wild. = ) They are cute animals. I guess farmers don't like them a whole lot. I've takin a likin to them...heh, but I like most critters = )

it's fine Aman, I've done it as well. I don't know why it happens. My mom had that happen a few years back. No kids! She was very unhappy, lots of candy she had...lol but it turned out ok, we all ate it! She didn't have kids come trick/treating till they moved. I guess some neighborhoods don't do it. They go to the Mall now ewwwww!!!

Aman oooo it's kinda spooky when you think about it....8 } X, I know, but the leaves are changing, the neighbors have fall and halloween stuff on the porch. I can't buck that! Now, go bob for an apple = ) and it's like three days away from being Fall!
