Oats, Bikes, Gamers and Coffee

It's a gorgeous morning. I started it with a cup of green tea and with my new morning oaties. = ) I feel like a wild horse eating it. Nahhhhhh! But I poured enough cream on it to keep me fueled for the day. Also evil brown sugar...yummm! I mean, we're talkin' oats here, ya' just got to doctor them up.

I went for a long bicycle ride with a friend. It was cool, quiet, lush. Birds singing and the humming sound of bike tires. I like the feel of wind blowing my hair and bugs flying in my face. I need a horn on that thing. That way, when someone's in my way, I can honk at them. I have a bell, but it just emmits 'tinky' sounds. I want one of those semi truck horns. HONNNNNNNNNNK!

I'm heading off to White Plains, NY this afternoon, so I'll miss the events on the web cam. One person in the chat area of the web cam said, "Look at them. They look like kids. They're having so much fun. I wish I was there." The funny part of what he said was no one at the Lan was doing anything. They were just sitting there, staring at the screen, barely moving, playing games. Then I thought. "That's what gamers look like, sitting still, immersed in their games, not blinking much while the outside world becomes a distant memory." Yep, they're having a blast!
