Just got back from a business trip, it kinda wore me out. There were a few foosball games going on, so the hotel was buzzing with loud drunks. (Is there ever a quiet drunk?) I was able to mix work with play and visited friends. We went on a food and shopping extravaganza. I got to tell Santa what I really want for Christmas. I won a horse (named him Colt, it's fitting..lol), bought a bear, and donated some of my hair. The mall was in top Christmas form, and I have to say it really put me in the mood for Snow, Santa and the Smell of warm pumpkin bread.
So since I’ve been home, I haven’t been out of my jammies and fuzzy socks for two days. I’ve been lying around relaxing, looking through backlogs of magazines, books and games, and even caught up on some emails to friends. I’m nappin’ and sippin’ hot chocolate but thinking I might venture outside today…nah.
I’m as happy as a snug bug in a blanket. Right now, coffee and warm biscuits are all I need.
These are not great pics, but the Mall was so dressed for the holidays. I was like a kid going ooooh ahhh while taking pics like a tourist. It was strange being back in Troy MI and it felt like I never left. I lived there for about five years. People like to cut down MI, but there are a lot of great places to live and many things to see and do. We spent the day in Ann Arbor eating our way from one hot spot to the next. If you visit Ann Arbor be sure to eat at Zimmerman’s and Café Zola. One word YUM!
A floating pirate ship...arrrg saz I!
Now, if you'll excuse me, my sofas calling me . . .
