I'm going on vacation...I'm GOING ON VACATION!!! I feel like a kid! Are we there yet?! Frist, we are heading to my grandparent's house in TN. They'll stuff us full of Southern home cookin'--but that's OK, because after that we're heading to the cabin and I'm gonna be hiking it off in the mountains of North Carolina--but I won't be drinking the water. WTD!...North Carolina, I think it's time to call Roto Rooter. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm so gonna be yoodle'ing on mountain tops . . . What part of TN? Upper east? If so, welcome to God's country.

It's a colony of Tubifex worms in the Raleigh-Durham area - that's where Transman lives. Just to be certain, when I visit him I plan on drinking only Tequila. Have fun. Avoid Dollywood. If you get the chance, try to drive US 129 between Robbinsville and Maysville, the 'Tail of the Dragon'. One of the best roads in America, 300+ curves in 13 miles, I did it on the Harley last year and will be taking the Bug there next April/May.

@: Automan, my clan keeps me in the basement. After my last blog, they don’t let me out much…lol @: William, I don’t do the driving on those roads. I sit back, relax and point out nice views and strange looking things like mountains, rolling lush green hills, waterfalls, fresh air and hit every rest stop from here to there and back again…heh I’m gonna eat me a lot of bbq! @: H2Dadd…lol. My G-parents live near Ashville, NC right over the line in TN. They wanted to retire in NC, but something about it being cheaper to retire in TN than NC. You’re right, it is beautiful in TN and NC. I love going there. I’ve always wanted to live there. The cabin is in Highlands, NC. We go there as often as we can. Lots of waterfalls and walking in the woods, but you already know that. @:Caesar, it’s growing like crazy. I gave it some plant food and BAM!!! I’ll take some new pics of the garden to show when I get back. By then I’m sure it will have taken over the entire back yard...town…world! The bees are all over it. I have to move slowly with I want some thyme, you don’t want to piss off the bees!...lol Mine is not as elaborate as your garden. I have mostly herbs, peppers and tomatoes. I have enough herbs to feed the world! OK, maybe not the world, but…… C, I’ll do that PS3 question thing in Resist, too.

Your grandparents must be really close to me. I live within 10-15 minutes of the NC line. G-parents live in Erwin by any chance?

Thanks everybody! @: H2Daddy, they built their home about ten years ago on a mountain side. It’s between Del Rio TN and Ashville, NC. They’re getting older and might move to one of the bigger towns in the area. My grandmother says it takes too long for them to drive to the Dr’s, stores, repair shop. It’s because the road is a two lane curvy thru the mountains with cliffs kinda drive. A bit much for my grandpaw to drive now. I'm off! Talk to y'all later! Have a great Labor Day everyone! Fox, a week and I’m going to be that cat in the pic above…lol
