Shared on Tue, 05/22/2007 - 14:051. I played with a couple of guys from work, which is always more fun than just going it alone, especially in Team Slayer. Add to that these guys are pretty good Halo 2 players, which means more winning. Not that winning is everything, but it's usually more fun.
2. In Halo 2, I'm more of a Rumble Pit armed with plasma rifle w/ SMG + melee kind of guy. In Halo 3, there are times for that, but since the three maps in the beta are medium/large, a carbine or BR with an assault rifle as backup are much more effective. Once I figured this out I had much more success, which also equals more fun.
Now I have a much greater appreciation of Halo 3. I think Bungie has done a great job of balancing the weapons and grenades, making accuracy and teamwork much more important. Hopefully the rest of the maps will be as high quality as the three in the beta, and the multiplayer will be even more addicting this time around.
