Here is my first blog entry.

Twenty five years playing games, so much to say, where to start?

What about my current addiction to BF:1943?  It's such a simple game and that's why I love it.  It only has three maps which I've played hundreds of times but still I'm not bored.  Every game starts off the same with everyone trying to grab some early flags using the fastest route.  The beauty of the game though is that within a couple of minutes, every game becomes unique.  I have to say my favourite games are when I am on the dominant team and I can wander around in a tank racking up kills.  As the overall skill level of players increases though this is getting harder to do.

Another great thing for an older gamer like me is that you can play in bitesize portions.  Have 15 mins to spare?  Just enough time to squeeze in one round then.  I play to keep playing until I reach level 50.  I'm currently at 36 so that should take a couple of weeks.  Once I'm finished I'm going to take a look at the used copy of BF2 that I bought to experience more BF.  First impressions of the game werent great and I'm not looking forward to starting multiplayer with a three year handicap.  If I don't like it I have plenty of other games sitting idle that I haven't tried yet.  But thats another story.....
