Fallout, boy

Hello all welcome back to my blog which is in English this time.  Well I’ve finally kicked BF1943. As I’m sure anyone who is still playing will have noticed the lag has got really bad recently so I gave up trying to play.  I reckon I must have logged over 100 hours in that game so I definitely got value for money.

I’ve currently decided to give Fallout 3 a try.  I loved games like Baldurs Gate and KOTOR so I thought this would be just up my alley.  I put about 15 hours into the game so far and I can see why some people love it and some hate it. The open endedness of the world can be really overwhelming but at the same time it’s exciting to have that freedom.  Actually I was pretty annoyed when I bought the game. I got it used in Game which is a big chain like Gamestop and originally I wanted the Game of the Year Edition.  When I asked the manager for a copy he told me it was only available for PS3.  I didn’t believe him and checked out three more stores. None of them had GOTY Edition for 360 so I bought the regular edition.  Now I find out it is available and I need to spend €15 for each DL episode if I buy them separately.  Thanks Game. Hopefully I’ll have my fill with the disk and not want to play anymore episodes.

I finally succumbed to media hype and pre-ordered MW2.  I have never played the first game so I am prepared for having my proverbial arse handed to me several times over on a proverbial silver platter.  I’m sure my 2old2euro clan will take care of me though, eh lads?  A bit of hand holding will be required.

In other news, we had a bumper crop of parsnips this year and the sprouts are on track for Christmas dinner ;)
