Shared on Tue, 07/12/2011 - 03:51We’ve just got some custom shelves put in in our attic and now at last I have somewhere to properly store my gaming collection. It’s not the biggest or most impressive collection but it’s been lovingly assembled over many years. Unfortunately my wife insisted some of the space should go to store books but I got about 90% of the room so I can’t complain too much. I thought I’d share some pictures.
Consoles mainly on the left.
Games on the right.
Starting in the top left is my boxed Atari Lynx with two boxed games. It’s in really excellent condition. I don’t take it out much because it takes a serious load of batteries which only last a couple of hours. Still it’s a great little machine and I love it.
Underneath is my boxed Gamegear. It seems to be impossible to get a working GG these days, they just weren’t very well made. This one is fine most of the time but the cart pins need regular cleaning or it stops working. To the right of the GG is a boxed Nintendo 3DS.
Underneath again is my Gameboy shelf. Starting at the bottom is the Gameboy Original, DS, DSi, Gameboy Micro and Gameboy Advance. All boxed. The GBA is an American model that I bought while I was living in Virginia.
To the right of the Gameboys are some accessories, a boxed Gamecube controller and modem and a DS USB wifi connector. This wasn’t released in Europe and I had to import from Canada.
That’s it for today I’ll continue the tour later all y'all! Any comments are welcome.
