This one has been modded to play games from any region. Below that is a Sega Dreamcast, also unboxed. It’s a PAL model but it can play games from any region by using the Xploder disk. Cuddling up beside the DC is my small collection of Gamegear games. I got them all as a job lot and because GG games are pretty much worthless (you can get them for €1-€2) I’ll probably be adding to this at some stage. No boxes unfortunately.

Underneath is my PSP shelf. I have the PSP1000, PSP3000 and a PSPGo. Despite all the criticism I love the Go, I think it’s a seriously sexy console. Between the free games that came with it and the PSN welcome back scheme I have 13 full games on it which is plenty for long journeys. The only thing that drives me mad is a little scrape it has right on the middle of the screen.
Underneath again is my overspill of games for Xbox360 and PC. Only things of note are the Alan Wake, Halo3 and BlazBlue collector’s editions. BB is still unopened.
In the corner then are my boxed NTSC Gamecube and a PAL NES. Considering the GC box was used to store socks (!) for about 2 years it’s in great condition. Under them you can just see Metroid for SNES. This was the version that came with a full game guide. I bought it for about €5 sealed from a second hand shop and I’m actually disgusted that I ever opened it. I only played it once and still sealed its worth about €60. I’m also disgusted that I didn’t buy the other 3 copies that were on sale in the same shop.

Finally today just a couple of old Game and Watch from Nintendo and a Pacman game from Grandstand. I loved this game so much that as a kid that I could complete it with my eyes closed! I swapped the G and W for a stack of football stickers (equivalent of baseball cards) with a kid at school.
