Last week I decided to change my mobile phone provider to Three since they were offering a free iphone to new customers. When I signed up their "system was down" so I didnt get the phone till a day later (tuesday). I was told I could keep my old number of course and it would take about 2 hours to port over.
Here I am 9 days later but my number still hasnt ported. I now have an old phone that receives my calls and texts but cant make numbers, and a new iphone that can make calls but not receive them. I am angry. I have been to the Three store 4 times and called their customer service team (in India) 4 more times. Apparently Three keep trying to port the number but the request is being rejected by my old provider Meteor. Meteor deny this saying there is no obstacle from their end. Providers will only communicate via email and Three say Meteor arent responding to their emails!!!! Each time I talk to Three all they do is try the port again which is rejected again of course.
When I left the Three store for the final time today the Manager said she couldnt check my status since guess what, their "email system is down". I just want to cancel the contract now and give them their fkn iphone back. Only thing is I have heard so much BS from the Meteor Customer Service that I dont particularly want to back to them either.
Any ideas on how to hadle this?
