Back from a nice trip out on the Appalachian Trail... pics to come soon. Did a couple nights on the trail and hiked up Rich Mountain and caught some amazing views. Grossly underestimated the difficulty and packed WAY too heavy. But it was amazing. I was looking forward to a few days in the middle of nowhere without computer or email or phone. I picked up a nice mid-foot sprain and practically limped down the last 5 miles. That sucked, but the views were well worth it. Any of you backpackers?

On the way back breezed through Asheville and had some of the best microbrew I've ever had, at a place called Barley's. It's a hippie taproom. After 2 days of water and prepackaged MREs, we were ready for ice cold beer and a big pizza. Hit the spot, that's for sure.

Finally getting Dead Space this week, and my PS2... so it looks like I'm in SP mode again, but from what everyone says, DS is well worth it and I'm a sucker for a good scare!
