It took a listen on the radio to realise how vast this power outage was. I am sure there are a few who went wild and said it was a terrorist act or a coming zombie apocalypse. Hell, I would agree sooner to the later. Went around last night making sure seniors have flashlights and are taken care of. It was a pain that during the afternoon hours after the power went out, everyone was on the roads heading home. Traffic was too much for both surface streets and freeway. It finally calmed down after 6pm. It was nice driving around at 8pm and having only head lights show the way. Reminds me of heading back home on the Rez where only moonlight lights the area. Power finally came back on around 1am. Now I can get back on Live and shoot some zombies in the face. As of right now, there is just word that a high voltage power line from Arizona went down that triggered another power line to shutdown. Still, there is no definite answer as to how the AZ line went down. More news to come I guess. At least there was a good view of the stars last night. Something that does not happen in the city.
